Description
this article demonstrate how to setup development environment for OpenGL. In here I choose the Microsoft Vista 64X for operation system.
Precondition
1. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
2. OGLES-1.1_WINDOWS_PCEMULATION_2.03.23.1162.msi
Install and Environment Setting
1. install Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
2. install OGLES-1.1_WINDOWS_PCEMULATION_2.03.23.1162.msi (remember the install location)
3. Open window manager and changing directory to the Imagination Technologies\PowerVR SDK\OGLES-1.1_WINDOWS_PCEMULATION_2.03.23.1162\Builds\OGLES\WindowsPC\Lib\
4. Copy libgles_cl.dll and libgles_cm.dll to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
Running OpenGL Sample
1. change directory to D:\Imagination Technologies\PowerVR SDK\OGLES-1.1_WINDOWS_PCEMULATION_2.03.23.1162\TrainingCourse\11_MatrixPalette\OGLES\Build\WindowsPC
2. Open OGLESMatrixPalette.vcproj and follow Visual Studio ConversionWizard to convert project configuration file
3. Now click Build -> Build Solution from Visual Studio window
4. Click Debug -> Start Debugging to running the OpenGL sample
